Beverly Studer Director of Operations Registered Radiological Technologist Diagnostic Imaging Specialist |
Bev received her Registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist (RTR) in 1980 where she graduated from the Red River Community College and Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Upon graduation she relocated to Alberta and served as a general duty radiographer from 1980-1991 at a local hospital. Upon decreasing the number of hours worked at the hospital, Bev took on the responsibility of managing a medical radiology clinic in Edmonton, which then led her into business for herself. Bev owned and operated a retail chocolate outlet, which she subsequently sold before taking over the management of Edmonton Diagnostic Imaging Inc. in March of 1991.
Bev is an active member of the American Association of Dental Maxillofacial Radiographic Technicians (AADMRT), the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), and the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
Staying on the cutting edge of technology takes a considerable amount of dedication and hard work from Bev. She ensures that she is continually up to date on the knowledge required to operate not only the equipment, but the software that runs the equipment and generates the images. Her knowledge is passed on to her staff and she is proud of the work the entire team at EDI presents to the dental community. She is pleased to have made many lasting relationships with her referring Dr’s and their staff over the years.
When not running the office, you will find Bev devoting her time to her three beautiful Shelties along with the friends in her life who are so important to her.
