Photography is an extremely valuable tool for the dental community, and the old adage that "a picture is worth a thousand words" has never been truer than when discussing a patient's dental concerns. Digital photography has allowed improvement on image quality as well as patient satisfaction. All work is done in our office therefore no outside processing is necessary. Photos are taken and then instantly reviewed to ensure quality and precision prior to the patient’s departure. The photos are processed in-office at an imaging processing station and the final product is printed on a high quality dye-sublimation color printer as well as burned to cd in the form of jpegs. The turnaround time is significantly reduced, the product quality is excellent and multiple copies can be produced, including archived photographs at any time. |
