Edmonton Diagnostic Imaging (EDI) was established in 1989 to help meet the growing need for advanced oral and maxillofacial imaging services within the Edmonton and area dental community.

Our clinic uses advanced oral and maxillofacial imaging equipment designed to produce detailed, high-resolution images while minimizing radiation exposure whenever possible.

In addition to imaging services, every CBCT scan performed at EDI includes a comprehensive diagnostic report prepared by a licensed Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist licensed in Alberta. These reports provide referring clinicians with a detailed assessment of the scanned region, helping to identify findings that may influence diagnosis, treatment planning, or patient management. Our radiologists are also licensed to report in British Columbia and Saskatchewan. 

EDI also offers comprehensive radiologic interpretation of imaging acquired outside our facility. For dentists, an independent specialist review can provide additional diagnostic insight, support treatment decisions, assist with complex cases, and help ensure that clinically significant findings are identified and appropriately documented.
